Daytime running light delete????

Hey all im trying to figure out how to get rid of my daytime running lights on my 01' F-350 PSD?? I hate haveing them burning all the time and wanna get rid of them before i put my halogen conversion lights in! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Are you talking about the amber running lights in the corners of your headlights? For some reason daytime running lights isnt clicking in my head??

No, I think he may have a canadian built truck. I have a 2000 psd and have the daytime running lights as mine was built in canada.

I have 01 and nothing runs unless i turn them on, sometimes wish i had them on during the day but guess i wouldnt like burning aftermarket bulbs up if i had any in there

Mine was a canadian truck too with the daytimes in the headlights, not sure if its the same on the superduties but under the drivers side headlight was a black box that controlled the daytime runners in the headlight but it is on the core support so I had to take the header panel off and everything then I just unplugged the harness from the box and now I dont have the running lights any more

Got rid of my daytime running lights! Its alittle different on the superduty theres actually a little white box just above headlight on the drivers side unplugged it and no more daytime tunner! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction 0389!
