Headlight conversion

Will the one piece headlights from an 06 fit my 2000 and vice versa? My company is getting ready to retire a 2006 f250 and i want the headlights for my truck, along with a set of airbags on the rear axle. I have to be able to take my old lights and make them work on the other truck too....let me know what you guys think....Rod

I don't think they will. If you swap out the header panel then it would probably work. The older headlights have the adjustment nut formed into the header panel.

You ought to just get the whole front end. Grille, bumper, headerpanel, mirrors, headlights (cut off the pigtails), badges and whatever else you want... it will all bolt right on

The only way to swap them would be to swap the header panel out, but the problem will be the light bulbs, the 2006 lights use a 9008 and the 2000 uses a 9007. Gosracing makes a conversion harness to go from the 9007 to the 9008, but not the other way around. You could email them and ask them if they can make you some pigtail adaptors for the 2006, but for your truck use the upgraded harness with the relays as the 9008's need better voltage to get the light output. I just did the 06 style lights on my 2000, pics in my sig, and I have a thread on it in the aftermarket and upgrades section.
