I just bought a F-350 4+4 dually this summer with 145,000 on it. The guys on the site will chime in and fill you in. The 7.3's are good for a lot of miles if they have been maintained at all. If you can get the service records and what it had been used for would really help. The one I bought hadn't done a lot of pulling. It didn't have a fifth wheel ball and the drop hitch wasn't wore like it had been used a lot. Good luck with your new truck. The power is amazing!!!!!

I'm about to cross over 198,000 in my 2000 and it's running 100%. The previous owner (Construction Company) beat the poo out of it and it's still kicking but. Change your fluids religiously and your looking at another 200,000 miles at the minimum.
