I don't even show this as being a valid code. I will have to check some other info when I get home. I would start by checking the ABS connections at each wheel. Is this a 4 wheel ABS or 2 Wheel?
i am having the same problem. it happened to me like 2 months ago and i hadnt seen it since and now since it got cold here in cincy it seems like as soon as im not cranking it comes on right away. but i havent checked the code so we may have different problems but either way my light is on too.
B2141..Scanner codes listed this definition...No-Volatile Memory Configuration Failure.I have no clue what this means.I merely typed your code in and this is what I got from my Scanner library on Fords.Hope this helps or sheds some light on things.
B2141 A141 NVM Configuration Failure (No PCM ID Exchange Between Instrument Cluster and PCM)
Looks like a problem with the PCM, let me research this a little bit. What symptoms are you having? Checked all fuses?
This code can happen if your batteries have been disconnected or have gotten very weak from long term storage. If you have changed batteries or recently charged them it could be a old code, try clearing it and see if it returns.
Not sure how this is related to the ABS light though. I will keep digging. Have you checked the connections at the wheels with ABS sensors as well as all your fuses. I like to use a multi meter for testing fuses.
The truck is a 99, but checked for recalls none. Tryed to reset code with Snapon scanner, would not reset.Tryed disconnecting batterys, did not reset. Checked fuses all ok.Lite does not go out after starting truck.Re checked code again, need to recalibrate speed sensor .
