Need help deciding between Issopro guages or Quadzilla commander?

I need some opinions on guages. I am getting guages from Nathan at farmboy diesel. I am having a hard time choosing between Issopro needle guages or quadzilla commander digital guages. I like the look of the Issopro but i also like all the things you can do with the quadzilla. I just don't know where I am going to mount the quadzilla. Anyone have any mounting ideas?

Not a fan of the Isspro gauges. I've not used them but know of a few that have had problems with them. I use Auto Meter's and have the TS-MPD Monitor with Heads Up Display. The TS gives me the ability to recall high readings after a pull. I got mine from Larry at DPP.

Sure, I don't do any pulling like mech though.

I have a commander and it has been awsome. Comes with four guages and you can add more. You can monitor 7 things at once. It also does data logging, so after what ever you do, you can go back and look at it or store it to the computer. Very Nice I think. I also got mine from Larry and Pat at DPP.

I was thinking it was Rodslinger who did a comparison of real mechanical gauges vs. the digital ones...he found that the real analog/mechanical gauge was quite a bit more accurate than the digital, especially on EGTs. However the added benefit of the "toys and gadgets" w/ the digital stuff makes them nice too..I'd just be 100% sure that what you are buying is guaranteed to be accurate! Check w/ Rodslinger..I'm almost positive that it was him that did the comparison.

I have the commander too and love it. No pillar trash crowding up my cab. Easy to read - all in one eyeshot rather than having to scan 4 different pillar guages. Mounts on the left hand corner of the dash under the Pillar with a little sticky pad...wiating for a pillar mount to come out but I actually like it where it is.

got the commander and love it, easy to navigate and read, check out my garage to seee where i mounted it

oh and it can control lots of chips

I've had my Commander installed for about a month now. The pillar mount should be available shortly, and that's the only thing I'd change about it. I have EGT, Boost, Tranny and Coolant temp displayed and it's great. I was looking at an Issopro gauge package that costs about as much as the Commander (which I got from Discount Power Parts) and given the capabilities of the Commander the decision was rather easy...
