$300 sounds like a deal to me. I know the injectors and turbo are where alot of the value in the motor is but still. It says obo, talk him down.

If the engine isn't dusted, blown, weak, tired or about to completely self destruct... then $300 is pennies for it. If it's in very good condition then that guy could easily get $1500-$2000 for it if the condition is good and mileage is low.

When you say 'motor'...what do mean.

Just the block with forged rods and pistons in it?

You say the injectors are gone, are the heads intact, valve covers and everything else topside there?

I don't think you can get $1500 for just a forged block can you?
