You sparked my interest here, becuase I just threw my coffee across my lap yesterday taking an offramp too fast, was pissed beyond belief!!!!! I have an 00 and its the POS cup thrower, guess what? TAN!!!!! Like they had a surplus of Tan ones so they just kept shoving that piece of garbage in till they ran out!!!

So the cup holder is black plastic, and the front handle is grey or tan textured vinyal plastic 2 different materials, that have to be glued together or something?

Get out the dremel, hack them apart and gorillla glue good cup holder to your original face. Then PM me for my address so you can send me the other cup holder you have so I can fix mine!!!!

reading these posts about getting pissed off because of spillage makes me laugh and this is why... decades ago while eating lunch with my girlfriend in the truck, I spilled ketchup on my shirt. At the time I cared about my appearance and this really got to me. She just started busting up like it's the funniest thing she saw!!! THAT sent me THROUGH THE ROOF!! In my last ditch effort to save face by frantically throwing the burger out the 1/2 open window, I MISSED THE OPENING!!!! yep, looked like a ketchup bomb went off all over me and my truck. Well last laugh's on her, I married her

seriously though, I got a tan cup holder in a gray truck if you wanna trade. I ordered it from the dealer and got the wrong color, just didn't think it was important enough to exchange it.

Yep, I hate the thrower on my 2000 F-450. Bought a holder from the dealer.

If you havent done it yet, the right way is to use SEM Vynal and plastic Dye its an actual dye in a spray paint can type of dispensor. actually soaks in and permanently changes the color. It will NOT alter the grain or texture and naturally comes in all OEM exact match colors. I have used this product for years professionally and it does work The last I bought was about $10.00 a can, the rest of the can will be useful for touchups around your trucks interior?!! (If / when needed)
SEM Classic Coat, Sem Products, Inc. 800 831-1122 or SEM Products - Home Site
(automtive / flexable coatings / classic coat)

Aahhhahahaaaa... I am so glad I'm not the only one that spills my drinks on a regular basis because of this awesomely designed cup thrower!

Mine is actually custom from the factory too... yeah, if you pull on it a little too much it simply detaches I guess the engineers designed that into it so that you can throw the f@#$%ing thing out the window after it soaks your crotch with boiling hot coffee! At least they were progressive thinkers.
