IDM Can you use a 1995 in place or a 2000

I am trying to confirm if my IDM took a poop on me. I was going to remove the IDM from my 1995 F350 and put it on my 2000 excursion. They both are PSD but I wanted to confirm if they are the same?

What is the difference in the 100,110, 120?

Thanks

They will interchange. 100-110-120 is the voltage to the injectors. Higher the voltage, quicker they will fire.

What if I replace a 120 with 100?

What would happen? I am going to remove the good IDM from my 1995 to replace the 2000? Where is the idm on the excursion. The F350 1995 is easy to find, but I don't see the excursion.

Thanks

they'll interchange but you'll drop some power the 95 idm only puts out about 85 to 90 volts whereas the later ones like 2000 put out around 120 volts but it will work
