all i tell the " kids " is Yor welcome.. they always get a little confused when i do sa thta. i say , your welcome, because of people like me doing what we do or did, you have the right to do what you do... so if you want to disrespect me, i guess i have helped to protect your right to do so... so your welcome!!

I was really surprised by the people that did say thank you. I guess I never really thought of myself as a veteran and being on a college campus I figured no one would bring it up but I had a couple of classmates who stopped at the beginning or end of class to say thanks for my service. It was nice...people to easily forget and that is something we need to make sure never happens. Semper Fi! |
