how big of a tire will fit a f350 dullie

i have a 2inch lift on my 2000 f350 dullie and i want to put bigger tires on it, it has 235 on there now. everyone i talk to says you cant run anything bigger then a 255. could someone help me out or does anyone have pics of dullies with bigger tires on them thanks

Not wanting to hijack you're thread but I'm also very curious about this? I'd also like to know if there are many guys running 33's with stock rims on a dually without a lift?

255 is the largest width w/o running spacers in the rear between the duals.

You can run wider, you just have to run a spacer between the rear duals to keep them from rubbing together. Because if they rub together, that will generate a lot of heat and can cause a catastrophic failure.

I'm not positive,...but you might want to check into Interco Iroks,...alot of duallies run them because they are so narrow.

here is a link for some info,...to see how they may fit.....
