Thick Blue Grey Smoke

Ive noticed a very thick blue gray smoke coming from my truck since I had the fuel leak fixed. It used to be black but now its a really thick blueish gray that just hangs in the air for a while. What causes this?

The first time I ever noticed it was when I had a used muffler put on my truck. Then it went away and now its resurfaced. But Im not driving as much as I was (90 mile in the last week versus 350 before hand) So I wonder if its soot that collects in the muffler. The blue grey smoke eventually goes away but only if I stay on it a couple times.
