Please help!!! ASAP Big Bad Wolf turbo

I am going to get a new turbo put on my 03 7.3. A local diesl performance place said a good choice was the big bad wolf. He ordered it today. Does anyone have this turbo. What do you think about it. I tow about 9000k pounds daily short distances. Less than 5-10 miles at a time. I have been reading some places said it it like the garret GTP38R. and other places say it does not spool up very well. Please help. I need to make a decision by tomorrow morning so I can call and cancel if it isnt too late. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

This is what I have done so far the usual
Afe stage2
Dp tuner 60 tow, 80 economy, 120 race, 140 smoke
Edge evolution 80, 100 stacked on top of dp tuner
4" exhaust turbo back straight piped
Guages
Bank trans command

Hey man Ive never heard of that turbo but I just wanted to let you know that stacking that evo on the DP tuner doesnt do anything. Im not trying to be rude I just wanted to let you know that since the DP goes into the PCM it will completely override the Evo that goes into the OBDII so honestly I would sell the evo and use the money for something else

It should be a good turbo for you. I have a friend that runs that turbo with a TS chip, intake and exhaust. He has no problems with it so far. Also it is a jornal bearing turbo wich means 2 things.

1. It IS rebuildable
2. I probly wont spool as fast as a Ball BEaring turbo, but it still shouldn't be a problem. There shouldn't be much of a surge issue like people have talked about with other BB turbos.

I have heard of it, but its not been one that has gotten great reviews. I would suggest an H2E from Beans diesel.

I installed one on an 01 onnce, It spooled nice, he hasn't had any problems w/ it but I have read on here of several guys that don't care for them. I installed a 38 on another truck a while back it peformed really well accept the junk Bully dog tuner the guy had. I think you will be all right either way, but I probably would have went w/ the BB for the quicker spool. That is just my opinion though.

Its made by HI-TECH TURBO.

Its probly about $1500. Wich is what the turbonetics was going for, but we all know what happened to that one. If I remeber correctly, the Garret is between the same price range to a couple hundo more. But as everyone will probly telll you that would be the way to go, unless you go with the H2e from Hypermax. The modded H2e is about $2900 from Beans. Not positive about the un-modded price, but I think its $600 less from Beans.

If anyone has more accurate info, please chime in so that I may too have my facts correct.
