Trying to get some gear ratio statistics...

Ok so here is the deal... I can get about 15mpg out of my f350 IF I drive it like a little old woman and never get over 60mph but if I drive the truck at 70 it gets a whopping 12 mpg. I have 4.10 gears and I am hoping some people who have actually swapped from 4.10 to 3.73 or 3.55 can post up the differences they noticed when swapping to the taller gears? Please do not post any hear say And I am really not interested in statistics on lifted trucks with big tires.

I am not here! I am Gone! I highly doubt I will ever be back!!!

12 MPG is pretty normal for winter mileage. I get 10 in the winter. Mixed in town/city. And i have 3.73's. Speed limits are only 55mph on the highways in Alaska so I'd like to have 4.10's because I'm always lugging the motor or in and out of overdrive.

Gear ration doesn't have much a difference in MPG I dont think. It just isn't feasible to re-gear unless you find someone who wants to swap axles with you. If you have stock tires, then I'd say keep your truck as-is and live with it. It does weigh 9000lb after all.
