Running it too EASY??

Hey All, I've had my truck (2000 7.3L) since June of this year. I started out around 18 to 19 mpg and of course since it was my new truck I didn't run it too hard...well, the newness wore off about August and instead of driving 65 w/ cruise control I found myself in the fast lane running 80+ quite a bit. Well lately (last 30 to 45 days) I've calmed down and kept it at 65 again..I've not made smoke, spun the tires..buried the needle (well once..lol)..etc..I've been totally 100% easy on this truck. OK the kicker is that my mileage has went to crap running it easy, when I was running this thing over 70 consistently my mileage was at it's peak, now with my foot out of it all the time it's not very good..what is up w/ this?? Btw...my driving 95 to 98% freeway, running empty..almost NO in-town driving. Could it be the fuel / winter fuel?
