brake controller battery usage

Just noticed that my brake controller light stays on all the time. My truck starts fine but i'm wondering how much this generally pulls from the battery if truck sits overnight or for a while. should i just unhook it if i don't pull things very often. thanks

I wouldnt worry about it. Most alarm systems have a light that stays on or blinks and such, radio gets a constant 12v...

If the truck sat for long periods of time than you may notice, but if my truck sits a long time i put a battery tender on it anyway

the led's on mine are on all the time and i leave the truck for 2 weeks sometimes and it still fires up no problem. if i leave my radar detector on for that long it runs the batteries down.
