Where is the PCM?

Want to find the PCM so I can figure out which one I have. I dont even know what it looks like, is it the Black box mounted on the drivers side kick panel? If that is is, where do you find the numbers on it?

It is that little black box, you have to go in threw the engine and un do a bolt, i think its 10mm and then slide the box out of the mounts.

OK, now I see where it is, but do I have to remove it to find out which one it is?

yes. i've heard another way, using a mirror on a stick or something on the engine side of the firewall to read the code. IT takes like 5mins to pull the PCM, another 5 to put it back

You can probably loosen the bolts around the cover and get it away enough to see the code on there. I know I could pull my cover without pulling my PCM.

I use a flashlight and a mirror on a stick to read the label on the engine side. You may have to wipe the area down with a rag, but it's there!! Remember you are reading the numbers and letters backwards!!lol!!!
