yeah, I noticed my swaybar link bushings were shot when I did my leveling shackles.. Didnt know they would cause a vibration i the steering though. I do need to replace them. Thanks for reminding me.

Sorry Nick but you won't feel sway bar end links through the wheel!! You will feel like somebody is hitting the floor under your feet with a hammer. I hate to say this but my bet is on wheel bearings. They are that difficult, if you have done wheel bearings before!! BJ's will usually have play up and down and bearings will be in and out. But the best way to tell is to tear them down and inspect them.
Good Luck
NCH

when the wheel bearings went on my buddies 97 it they roared a lot especially when braking. had a 73 mach 1 mustang back in the day that did this as well. i'm not doubting anyone.

Did you figure this out yet? Even if there is no play in the wheel bearings they can still cause noise so be sure to spin the wheel off the ground and listen for strange sounds

I skipped on the dynatrac kit and replaced my stuck and "clicking while turning" hubs with warn units and love them.

I have worked on vehicles were I had the front end in the air and with the vehicle turned off needed to cycle the steering left or right for various brake/suspension repairs...after the work was completed on test drives on certain cars and trucks I have noticed a strange vib. and sluggish power steering. I think a ps system that may have a small leak is able to suck in air and until it bleeds itself all the way out will affect the ps pumps performance, causing vibrations.

...hey one more thing, sometimes checking your ball joints is a 2 man job...get the truck supported in the air and put a big pry bar under the front wheels and and have a buddy with a flashlight on the uppers and lowers looking for any play.
