You know you can just fill it up to the neck, keep up with the miles and the gallons added and fill it up the neck anytime later...two tanks, three tanks, etc. and it is still accurate. I do this sometimes if I'm in a hurry. Since you started this thread, I have been asking around and it is not unusual at all for these trucks to get 21 mpg right out of the dealer's lot. Wish mine did!

Before my lift and tires, my truck got 21.4 on the 75hp setting(hand calculated) on level ground doing about 67mph and a lil over 1800rpms. I would think this is completely possible with a 2wd that sits lowers and has less weight and rolling resistance. When I go home for xmas Im gonna gps my truck to see what shee really gets the way she is now.

yep yep i keep up on my tires.. rides a little rougher, but hey, it's not a BMW!! and the ride actually is quite good. i used to deflate them a little on the ranch for traction but.. at correct PSI they still get plenty of it! and yeah. going 60 the whole way was tough but i did it. it sucked having big rigs and tour busses pass me though haha
