whats gone wrong?

i made a thread like this before, but it got hardly any replies. i figure it would be very informative for fellow owners to see what are common problems, and when they were replaced. a lot of times some of the same stuff have similar lifespans on other trucks. sometimes this isn't the case at all though. so list what year your truck is, how many miles, and what you've had to replace at what approximate mileage. i'm not looking for approximate mileage on oil changes or tires, or coolant or trans changes just obvious stuff like water pumps, alternators, ball joints, radiators, cps, etc. by the way this is open to 94-98 owners as well.

2000 f 350 4wd. cps went out at 80k something before i was the owner. transmission totally went out at 109k. other than that i've replaced brake pads, belts, oil changes, trans filter/fluid changes, coolant changes, differential changes, tire changes, fuel filters.

my truck was rebuilt at 260k and a engine shop owned the truck at the time. a person who i will call "joe" bought it and sold it to me at 325k. joe was driving it and one of the hoses came off and over heated it a bit. not too bad though. oil started to mix in the coolant and he changed the oil cooler. didnt fix the prob. he said head gaskets were next. i bought it and did the head gaskets and replaced one of the heads. didnt fix it. water pump went out and radiator was cracked. replaced and fix those and now it haves a brand new oil cooler on it. i lost count on how much antifreeze and oil i put into it.

2000 F-350

210K on the clock. Replace the alternator at about 208K. Other than that no other replacements (major)

back brakes at 180K

and I guess you could count the turbo. I did replace it because of surge at about 190K..

These threads are really useless for any useable info, so for entertainment value have at it!!
There are so many variables in why a part malfunctions it isn't even funny!! It is also impossible to give a aprox life of a specific part. If 10 people say their alt went out at 75K and you have 74,999 and yours is working just fine, are you going to replace it?
Some of the many variables, are how the truck is used, where it is used, how it is driven, maintenance, conditions, weather, road etc.... So for entertainment value only her's mine!!
Shocks at 30K
WP at 60K
Finally trashed the factory brakes at 50K and ordered some real brakes from Powerslots.Hawks.

That's It!!
