Mines covered in oil and diesel and is kinda tore up so Im going to go ahead and pull it this weekend as well

ill tell ya what difference in sound it makes in a week or so when i put my new hood on .. I'm not putting the insulation on the cowl hood

i would love to take mine off, it's dusty and whenever i close my hood my intake shield hits it and it coats my engine with dust

hmmm interesting my dad actually made me put mine back on after deleting it bc he said the hood would get to hot and bow and the paint might melt, i guess hes wrong i never realized his 06' doesnt even have one

Really, It gets hot enough to melt paint, but not set that materal on fire?




I cant wait to see that crowl hood chris, I want one bad. but not ready to spend that kind of money on non-performance

I took mine off because it got soaked with coolant when the water pump took a sh@t. I didn't notice it any louder.

I think the engine noise was a little louder so I put mine back on, may just be in my head though I do that crap all the time.
