Water Pump

At 129,000, my waterpump finally gave up. Any aftermarket brands to stay away from. Hoping to get 100,000 out of the next one, so I'd appreciate your input on where to buy a replacement. Thanks.

Northern auto sells the same manufactured pump that was stock. Around $85 IIRC. Make sure you get a new housing as the stock one doesn't reseal most of the time. Powerstrokeshop.com has them for under $20, or dieselsite.com has the billet unit. I too would add a coolant filter and this is a good time to switch to a True ELC coolant like the Fleetrite ELC good for 300K with no SCA additive. PM me with any ?
