Fixing a bad lift questions

So my brother-in-law bought a used 2003 f250 with a home made 8" lift (sketchy, I know) Long story short the track bar weld broke and we need it back on the road asap and I was seeing if anyone could give some insight as to which parts we need to get to get this thing rolling again.

I'm looking at a drop pitman arm for a 4"-8" lift from icon suspension. My question now is really for the track bar. Do I get the standard factory length with the drop pitman? Or do I get adjustable one? And if we go adjustable which length?

Thanks guys and gals.

I'll have to post some pics next time I'm over there.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It's ultimately his money and his choice. We just have no idea of the combination of parts we need to get this thing safely back on the road.

So there is no need for the adjustable track bar? And the 4-8" drop pitman from icon will work?

I really appreciate the help
