Forged or not?

My old man has an f350 with a born on date of 12/18/99. Does it have a forged crank and/or connecting rods?

Yep you got forged rods.....all trucks until 8/00 have them i believe, it is a beepbeepbeepbeep shame they stopped. Anyone know if the 6.4 is gonna have PMR or forged?

anyone know why they stopped the forged parts? obvious answer is to save money, but curious.

I thought it was 10-15-00 was the last date for forged rods?
