Valvoline/Napa 15w 40 conventional oil?

So Napa is having a sale 9.99/ gallon for the napa and valvoline premium blue 15w 40 conventional oil. You also get a free napa gold oil filter with a gallon of the oil. My understanding is they are the same exact oil in different bottles, and 9.99 a gallon with a free filter seems like a hell of a deal... But I want to make sure its quality oil. I dont want to change to synthetic if i dont have to. So who's running it in their 7.3? What's your opinion on this oil?

That's what we use at work in all of our super duty trucks (Around 100 of them) and have since 2007. I run rotella in my engine, but I use NAPA brand tranny fluid in mine cause it's around $60.00 per 5 gallon bucket and I've never had an issue with it. I'd run it

1999.5 707 Conversions Super Duty 7.3 Crew Cab LB Dually 4x4 Edge Evolution, Oil HPx, Fuel FRx, tons of filters, hutched n harpooned, B&W turnover ball and 5th wheel, lotsa goodies.

Do you know how often they change the oil on the trucks at your work?

We do it around 5k miles or every 180 days for the ones that don't see enough use to hit 5k in 6 months (Usually the F-450s or bigger)
