03 6.0's were a crap shoot! You could get a GREAT one or get a turd.

EGR issues, Injector design flaws, and oil leaks come to mind. Drive it, get the vin and PM it to Marc... if it's been great for it's first 50k, chances are that it will be fine.

Make SURE you get an Oasis report to see if that rig has a history of issues as did some of the 03 models.

Skip oasis, just give Marc the VIN and he'll get you the lowdown...

it should still be under warranty so if there are problems won't the dealer have to fix it. it is coming from a ford dealer.

Looking at Fords current reputation for warranty claims, I wouldn't count on that.

Oasis is what Marc runs, Marc has many request to run these and Marc is a pretty busy guy these days. Ask him yes, but if you want it tomorrow, ask the dealership to show it to you.

dead 7.3, new 6.0

thanks guy's.dumb question here. can i make the 6.0 meaner than my wonderful 7.3 that is now dead. my mods that i would do would be similar as my 7.3. i really don't have experiance with the 6.0's. this 6.0 has a factory cat on the exhaust.
