totaled, landed upsidedown

on wednesday november 15, FHP determined my right rear tire,after the tread seperated and came off the tire, caused my accident. truck hit guardrail at approx 70 then went airborne.vehicle is total loss.i am banged up pretty good myself, but seem to be ok. time to look for another one. man, i sure loved my superduty!

thanks everyone! i love this membership and all involved with site! when i get a new soulmate (truck) in a few days i will feel much better! however, i am going to need me some new stickers to represent this organization.

First of all, I'm glad your ok. That sounds like it was a bad one. Second, I'm sorry to hear about your truck. And last, could you give us details about this wreck? IE. What type of tires? Were they low or worn? Did you hit something? I'd rather not follow in your footsteps if you know what I mean.

tires were 285/75/r16. tread was almost like new. just got the front end aligned and tires rotated last weekend. tires had approx 25,000 on them. they were all terrain coopers. also, airbags did not deploy.

I din't know much about air bags But should they have beployed? I thought that they only did in a front or rear colision, and I don't know the details of the wreck. I'm just curiousif anyone knows?
