May seem dumb, but....
Can anyone direct me to an article on how to change my fuel filter.
And how often do you swap them out?

thanks for the info.

The fuel filter is in the round thing in the center of the motor on the top. Very easy to change, just unscrew the top, pull the old one out, put the new one in, be careful not to splash, put the o-ring on, make sure it is seated, and put the lid back on. Prolly do it every 10k to 15k miles. Unless you are starting to use bio, than do 5k, 10k and the 15k. I think I got it all, if I didn't I am sure someone will let us both know.

All of the filters I have bought have pretty good directions with them. You should be able to losen the cap by hand it my be tight though.

if you have an oil filter wrench it will fit on the fuel filter lid to unscrew it. works on 99-03.
