Holy Crap!!
I did my ccv mod today. For now the hose is running to the back bumper and turned down. I went to McDonalds while ago toget my boy a burger, waiting in line I looked in my side mirror at the car behind me. OH SH*T!!! The air between me and the car was full of the "stuff" coming out of the hose and it was streaming from under the bumper like I had bad rings or something!!
It was aweful. I gotta find a bung and hope running the gasses out the exhaust wont be as bad or as noticeable!!

I tried mine in the exhaust. It made too much back pressure a caused the rear main to leak. Once removed it was ok. I moved it to the middle of the bed so it isn't so noticeable. Looks worse than it is mine never drips.

It keeps the oil residue from building up in the CAC tubes and the intercooler. I was thinking about doing mine but if its going to leave a cloud smoke if I'm idling I won't do it. And i have heard of people trying to do it in the exhaust but caused to much backpressure causing oil leaks, even heard of making the turbo leak internally. I would think though if you put the bung on at an angle with as much exhaust flow as there is it would create a vaccum on the crankcase.

try using a one way valve in the bung to the exhaust. this is what you do when doing this mod on race cars anyway, i have it done on my car, with the one way valve it can't create pressure in the crank case, and you just get the suction when your on the throttle. mr gasket makes a kit, so does moroso, these are for a V-8 so they come with 2 valve cover breathers and 2 bungs and one way valves, so you could probably do it cheaper if you just tracked down the right valve and added to your set up.
