IN CAB MONITOR

Hello all, I have a few questions about my truck, 02 f350 7.3, after installing the incab monitor at start up my egt is at a minimum off 800 degrees, on hard throttle no load or tune gets up to around 1175 degrees is the max that I have seen. Why do you guys think my temps are so high. Oh hey it is a pre turbo install? Please help I got all this stuff to tow and Im scared to do so now.

Thanks
RMP

What kind of monitor is it? Is the probe in the manifold?

yes it is, but going by the display it is set at zero tune and if I do add a tune it changes the tune level on the display.

Just out of curiousity can you unplug the tuner portion and use the gauges, i would be interested to see what it shows on the low end stock.

Otherwise he may have some up pipe leaks

yes I did inplug the module at lunch today and drove it and nothing changed, so I plugged it back in. The numbers did not vary at all. When you say up pipe leaks what are you referring to?

your temps dont seem too far off.... i used the granatellie fuego and hated it... it always ran very hot....

do you have an exhaust and intake done? that will help lower the egt's
