I don't think it's even possible for the egt to be that high at the moment it's started. It doesn't matter whether you have an uppipe leak, or how much boost it's making, it's obvious(imo) that there is something wrong with your guage. The boost could be off also, since it's a monitor and not two separate guages

okay guys just one more question? How do I check the probes signal and can
i just add anolog gauge to this probe to see actual temps. No love loss but I really want to make these things work because the owner of Granitelli is a friend. I have read lots of good and bad stuff about his products, so I really dont want to junk the stuff.
Anyway, is there a way to test the probe?

this is the kind of probe you need to connect to a analog gauge: Auto Meter Street Series 1/4" EGT Probe Kit

Yes it is the Big G IN CAB monitor. The link you added looks like the probe but I am not sure what the other one looks like.

Okay here's some pics of the pyrometer and the location. Raul hopefully you can help me figure out if this is a probe I can use with a isspro or autometer gauge.

That probe is installed exactly where it should be, so your good there.

As far as being compatable with those brands of gauges, t he other end of that line would be the one in question. Wether or not it will connect to the gauge itself. I thought they were all the same, but not 100% sure on that. Raul will check in soon for you though.

Good Luck
