Put them in now. Just stay outta the throttle till the new turbo comes in. Believe me it wont take long to kill the stock turbo with those sticks. Mine only lasted about 3 weeks with bigger sticks.

I drove mine for a while with the stock turbo, but I loosened the wastegate, and hooked it up, so it was holding about 25lbs tops. No towing, though

I have drove for months at a time on my stock turbo with the stage 2's and DP tunes. Just don't beat the hell out of it and the turbo will be fine, unless the turbo is already a POS. If the stock turbo is in good operating condition then I wouldn't hesitate one bit to run the stage 2's, like I said, just be nice to the throttle pedal and the stocker will live.

I think I've rebuilt it twice in less than 10k miles.....

By the way,my stock turbo with 140,000 miles is in 100% perfect condition and is still tight as the day it was built, preforms flawlessly. D66 with 2 rebuilds on it...

Don't get me wrong, I like my D66, but I'm not having good luck with it and I expect that I'll be rebuilding it again in the future. Bean tells me that some of his D66's are on trucks making far higher HP than my truck and they have no problems lasting, maybe it just doesn't like my truck. A Garrett BB will be my next turbo once I get good and tired of rebuilding my D66.

How much does it cost to rebuild each time? same as a stocker? what boost you see with it? Do you know your numbers? Does the Garrett BB bolt srtaight up to our trucks?
