6 Speed Manual Upgrade

I've been doing alot of research and have only fallen on my face with my search. Does anyone know of any makers who do upgrades for the 7.3 manual six speed tranny (i.e. larger 5th and 6th gears), with everything going in the crapper with the economy, I wanna get the most out of my fuel. Help would be appreciated! Thanks

If you want better milage you are messing with the wrong gears!! You need to change your ring and pinion in the diffs. Just remember your towing will be affected by going to high.

i'm not necessarily looking to do any towing, i'm looking to buy the truck, convert it to vegi, and get upgraded gears so i can get better fuel economy.

Wasn't there a guy who posted on TDS about messing around with gearing alot for the mileage. i'm wanting to say he got down(or up) to a 3.08 or something around there? I'd probably just try to find something in the 3.50 range. that should get your rpm down around 1700 (guessing) at highway speeds, which would still be high enough for the truck to not be lugging trying to keep up.
