NEW TURBO AND TAILGATE

well finally got the new turbo on and in the mean time finished the 08 tailgate , figured id throw up a couple pics


the new h2e modified turbo , easier to put on with the trans out

08 tailgate


the fancy ladder which comes in real handy

now how much fun is that well boost wise what is the highest that you have hit so far with it?

Is the tailgate a direct replacement or did you have to modify anything?

i dont know , my boost line apparantly has gotten hard from heat , and cracked during dissassembly , so i guess once i get a line and a new fitting ill find out ,exhaust isnt hooked up yet either , got appointment monday to get down tube connected to exhaust, oh and my fass fuel pump is acting up again for the third time , me and fass need to have a heart to heart , so hopefully by SSS ill have it all buttoned up

the only modification i did was remove the little bar that runs thru the bottom, its supposed to work like a trunk spring and help you close it , im not that dern lazy , so i removed that rod , reinstalled the plastic cup that slides over the mount on the left side and stuck it on, took all of 5 minutes , besides paint

im gonna have to do something , these fass pumps arent holding up at all, anybpdy ever heard of fass giving that much problem
