Weight sticker

Hi all. I just purchased a '00 F350 and have been soaking in all the good info on this site. My wife and I purchased this truck in the hopes of buying a slide in truck camper in the near future. I feel pretty good about this truck and felt like I covered most areas before I purchased it. The only thing that bothers me now is that I just discovered that the weight sticker is missing from the door. It looks like the sticker was peeled off. Will this cause me problems? Does it need to be replaced? Can it be replaced. Is this a sign that something strange was done with the vehicle? I searched the forum ahead of time and googled but could not find any info. Any ya'll can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks Goosed. Mine's a long bed as well so it also is rated at 9900. My main concern is if the Highway Patrol or DMV could ticket me if I happened to be pulled and it's missing.

never heard of someone being ticketed for that. Stickers fall off eventually over time
