HPOP HELP

I just took out my hpop cause i thought the gasket was leaking.
Does an oring go on the 1/2 inch bolt on the hpop, cause it was loose?
How tight should that bolt be?
The gasket looks fine to me, should i replace it anyway.
What should i torque everything at when putting the hpop in?
Thanks in advance....Chad

no orings on the bolt. only the metal gasket. if it was loose you might want to check and make sure the hole didn't strip out.

they only need to be hand tight. I think it is only 12 ft lbs but i'm not sure

Just checked it and theres no metal washer on it and i can tighten the bolt with a wrench so its not stripped. There was what looks like old rtv around it Looks like I will be finding a washer for it.

I think I put a copper or aluminum washer on mine. RTV won't work.

Not real sure what bolt we're talking about here.

I have a bunch of pictures though that might help.

its on the bottom back of the hpop. when you pull the bolt out it has a small rod on the end.
