I don't have much problem the way it is. I like Low and Reverse directly opposite because it is handy for shifting back and forth when doing low speed maneuvers.
Only problem, till I got use to it, was hitting Rev when I wanted 1st and sometimes 3rd instead of 1st. Hasn't happened for a long time but I still do a slow partial release if I know I need to really get going when I do go, just to be sure it is in 1st. Jeb |
