Vin Number

Will the vin number indentify what injector code I have. I know I can just pull the valve covers and look. But if I can use the vin number that is a lot simplier.

Being an 02, I'm 99% sure you have AD's and the AE in the #8 hole.

Well the #8 is the one that is bad. After talking to numerous people including Scuffy thanks for the info earlier over the phone. I think for now being money is tight. I have a hook up on some rebuilt injectors. Being that no one can beat this deal I am going to take my chances with this hook up. I just needed to know what injector code I needed. I really didn't feel like taking the valve cover back off to look. ( I know I should have looked when I did the glowplugs)

How much money would you put on that statement.

If there the stock injectors, $100... AE will be in #8... If they have been swapped you could have some AB selonoids on there, but rest assured they are AD 140cc injectors.

Stock Original Injectors. I had one fail at the dealership. I have a hook up for one injector. I just didn't want to pull my valve cover to look. The bad one just happens to be #8.

The bad one will be an AE if its in #8... but put an AD in and you will be fine, might pick up a bit of ICP and HP from it...

How many times did they test the injectors? I've seen a number 8 fail just for the hell of it.
