Power Mirrors

Power Mirrors , mine seem to be going everywhere but where I would like them , mostly seem to be going around in a circle , is there a fix or is this a complete replacement for a repair ?

I just had some idiot hit mine and knock the glass out, but didn't break anything but the 2 little tabs on the back that hold it to the housing. The bad news is, the guys at Ford told me, anything having to do with power mirrors is a automatic replacement. $184 no defrost, no turn signal, just power.

Ebay and aftermarket are good ideas. As are wrecking yards that specialize in trucks and other heavier duty vehicles. There's one about an hour south of me that i've gone to and gotten lots of great used parts for my old chevy that were in great condition.
