He does not rag on the truck. I run mine hard and still get the 18mpg.

Well

I would say that the truck is just flat embarrased to have BANKS on it. How fast does he drive. The problem is that the ideal fuel mileage rpm is about 2000. I'm guessing hes probably at 2000 by about 62 mph.

I get an average of 15 mpg mixed driving, see my specs below. The best I think I ever got on a tank is 18 on a trip to Idaho. I do keep it around 70 on the freeway, I am betting I would do better at 55-60 but It's not my daily driver.

I have seen many people claim much better, but everyone I know personally with a PSD is pretty much on par with me. A couple MPG's better on friends with stock tires no level kit with intake chip etc. Everyone else I know has close to same spec as me or 4" lift with 35"s instead of level but they are on par with me as far as mileage. Have a lead footed friend running 8" lift with 38's getting about 8mpg.

Ok an update I removed the chip for him. His milage really didn't change all that much. He drove it one full tank. he may really didn't gain or loose any mileage.

I don't know what tuning is on the chip. Because it does not smoke at all and really doesn't feel any different then my truck with my ts chip in the stock positio.
