What adds are you using????

Hi all. I just wanted to get an idea of what everyone is running for additives in their tanks. I have been running Diesel Kleen for a couple of tanks now. I was wondering if there something better to run to keep everything clean and lubed.

SoyPower! Spicers study... showed this was the best additive for Lubricity. Also it is a pure form of bio... So it's cleaning properties are 2nd to none. Was a no brainer for myself.

Lubricity Additive Study Results - Diesel Place

10oz.->per 30gal.. every fill up.

1oz of 2 stroke per gal for the past 3k miles. before that i was running diesel kleen and noticed noting. 2 stroke quieted down my injectors when cruzin on the freeway. if and when I ever get my BIO coming out right, i am going to ditch the 2 stroke and run 50% bio or so.

I have been running the 2-stroke oil in mine about 30-35K and I love it. Quieter, and 1.5 mpg better. 1oz. per gallon is right. I use the marine stuff from walmart, as long as it is ashless...

You guys are running 1oz/1gal??? Really? I was running a TINY bit... like 1oz/ 3 gallons of fuel or something. 1oz of oil for every gallon of fuel is the general consensus? Also I was using the Universal stuff from walmart. The $1.12 for 8oz one.

I found a big long thread about this topic on Powerstrokenation and decided to give it a shot. lots of the know it alls there said 1oz/gal was what to use. I did this for about 3k till now since I am running about 50% bio. It helped quiet my truck down a little. the Bio makes my truck even quieter!

I was using the super tech stuff from walmart too. it was maybe 9 bucks for a gal of it.
