HID iIllegal?

I'm just wondering if any has has been pulled over and ticketed for have HID's.

Cause I just installed mine and they are freaken crazy bright! I just wondering if I should be concerned about the cops!!!

.....Ive been asked about my lights once, and I simply said they were some special bulbs that I bought, and that was that..

I haven't been stopped yet and I've had mine for 3 months now. They are amazingly bright, probably the best money I ever spent on my truck

i think they can site u if they arent aimed correctly but besides that dont tell them enough about the hids that they dont already know and ud be fine im sure.the high end cars and suvs come with them from the factory anyways

thats pretty much how it goes, If/When I get yanked I plan on telling them it was a factory option and thats it

no but some vehicles u have to pull the housing out to get access to the bulb and wiring..i was reffering to the lifted ones that sit up higer than stock and headlights arent readjusted..like mine

The only problem I have had is I had to put the old bulbs back in to get my rig inspected. I have some of the older HIDS that do not adjust for hi/low beam

Thats a SURE FIRE way to get a ticket,telling a police officer something he knows aint true. Right or wrong...I guarantee he will find something to cite you for.
