ahhhh got ya.
I took what the tech said with a grain of salt, but I did think it was possible JUST because with a real lift kit, you "lengthen" the drag link , and the trac bar(whith brackets, drop pitman, or adj. trac bar). It is the only instance i can think of where the trac bar has been raised, the suspension has been raised, but the drag link is stock length. Now, going over a bump or a dip in the road and the suspension "tops out" wouldnt this cause GREAT stress on the steering components?? Sorry to beat what seems to be a dead horse, but I really wanna get this figured out (in my head for piece of mind)! |
