I'm looking at gauges now also... alot to chose from... I also like the simple install of the Edge posted above. I have a question.

How accurate are the reading with the edge plugged into the port? Compared to the gauges which are wired direct.

Raul: You will get my business for sure... i will order the pod that attaches to the pillar as well as the egt probe upgrade, will need that for sure.

the temp will vary a lil bit..... the trans temp i saw anywhere from 15-25 degrees hotter than what i saw on my autometer gauges (had both analog and digital at the same time)

other than that the boost and egt were identical...

"the trans temp i saw anywhere from 15-25 degrees hotter than what i saw on my autometer gauges "

I can deal with 15 deg, but 25 is a bit much. Next spring I'm going to pay brain a visit at BTS... So i really would like accurate info being posted. Maybe 25deg isnt that much.
But then again... I really won't be towing but only 1/4 of the time. So I should be ok.

I will order this setup, once i get my new wheels and tires.

Keep the temps under 220-230 and you will be fine... No matter where the probe is. Use the same red line... With a BTS, you should not see temps over 200 no matter what anyway.

Does the Edge Insight read the factory temp sensor on the 2002 Powerstroke (F350) or does it use another sensor?
