Clutch Pedal

Ok... so here is my problem. Last night got in the truck and took off, as I shifted into second and let off of the clutch, the clutch pedal come about 3" in. higher than normal... alomost to where I could not lift my leg up enough to get my foot on the clutch . Not sure what the deal is. I kept messing with it and the pedal finally stopped where it should, but then this morning did the same thing. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks

Isn't there a spring on the arm of the pedal? Maybe it's going bad?

Yeah... there is a spring, I am just not sure how it all works yet. Right now I am stuck at work so this evening I will perform some acrobatic moneuvers and get under there and take a look.

the problem is the clip thats holds the rod in the slave cylinder broke, there is only one way to fix it , replace the hydraulic clutch assembly , need to buy the ford ikit that comes prebled and comes as a assembly, you can buy just the slave cylinder , but you will probably never get it bled right

Thank god! I was worried there. I did my last one in 28 1/2 mins. But that was the 3rd for the week. The first one of the week took me about 4 hours.
