Shocks to go with Leveling kit

I have a F350 that needs new shocks.

Do I run the stock shock with the leveling kit up front or buy longer ones?

Thanks!!

Best is always get the correct length shock by measuring what the installed length is with the truck on the ground. Best ridding replacement will be correctly valved Bilsteins.

I was looking to go a little less then $400 worth of shocks. Just something off the counter with a warrenty from O'Reilys or AutoZone.

if its simply a leveling lift I have info and 2 options for you.

First bit of info is you don't NEED longer shocks. You may want them, but they're not necessary.

You did say yours are worn, so I would go 2 economical routes since it seems thats the path you're headed down. I've had both Monroe Reflex's and ProComp 9000's.

The reflex's are a nice silver finish, and have an integrated rod cover to keep crap from getting on the shock rod, and pricing fluctuates around $50each. Sometimes they run specials like buy 3 get 1 free. Not bad.

The ProComp 9000's are good shocks, but they're white. White isnt up to par for everyone, but a pricetag of about $35 for a good shock is up most people's alley.

Both ride great and perform well, as I've had both and now Bilstein 5100s.

I say either is a great cheap choice and being they're standard fitment you can get the Monroes from Kragen/Checker/Schucks and or the ProComps from Summit.

Thanks for the info!

I didn't think I needed longer ones but wasn't for sure. She does not go offroad so I wasn't worried about flexing them out.

Thanks again!
