cruze control

99 f350 six speed. the clutch pedal is started making a poping sound on the return of the through. i think that is the just the plastic bushing. but now the cruze controll is not working. so if yall got any ideas

If the bushing is worn it could be allowing the clutch pedal to sag far enough to trip the switch open which is keeping the cruise from working.
