If you are going to go with hybrids you might want to add head studs to your list of things to do. This will keep you from blowing a head gasket with all that boost and power. Some kind of fuel system is also a required supporting mod with hybrids.

Enjoy!

Can you say $$$$$?!?!? lol...Be prepared to spend some money, because as you can see almost every mod, has prerequisites, or supporting mods to go along with it...Big injectors need big oil...Big injectors also need big fuel. Big fuel means higher EGTs. That means you need a bigger turbo, and an efficient intake, and you will need headstuds as said above....And of course with all that power, the tranny isn't going to last long in its stock form...So you can either get a new/rebuilt tranny with some upgrades, or just get a new TC, and a new valve body.

BTW, how you do like the John Wood "slushbox" Howard? Did you notice a difference in temps with it or what?

Dispite what ANYONE says, stage 1, 2, and hybrid stage 3's DO NOT NEED ANY TYPE OF BIG OIL SYSTEM TO RUN. It's been proven over and over that stage 1 and 2 single shots don't need big oil. Stage 3 hybrids are notorious for running awesome with stock oil, so cross big oil off your list... you simply don't need it.

Big oil is only needed for B codes or stroked A codes. Hybrids operate on a standard HPOP just fine, that is was they were designed for.

The JW trans is great. My tranny temps dropped from over 200* any time I hooked to my trailer down to I can hardly get it to 180*if I force the TC to unlock on steep mountain roads. One of the best mods I have done to the truck. I only wish I would have done it when the first trans went and not the third one..... I'm slow.....

Hmm...I think Im going to have to go out and get myself one....Im thinking that with 37"s and 4.11 gears my temps might want to climb a little bit, and Im hoping it maybe helps with the shifting a little bit.
