00 350 lift and tires

Hey guys,
New to the forum and have a 2000 F350 and thinking about putting a lift and tires on it. Will a 6" pro comp lift work well with Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires 37" with 16" x 12" wheels? The lift says it will work up to 37" tires. Does any one have this type of set up and if so do the tires rub?

Any issues I shoul be aware of installing using this type of lift?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the quick reply. Looking to do the lift soon and just wantd to make sure it would work and look good. Still debating the type of tires I want to get. Thinking about the Mickey Thompson or Super Swampers.
Regards,
Mike

Nice looking truck!! The lift looks like it gives you plenty of room for the tires. I hav had my truck for a while and finally decided to lift it. Did you do any work on the ring and pinion? I would guess that I would have to change mine once I go with bigger tires.
Regards,Mike

those tires will rub at turning.. a 12" wheel will require a 13.5-15.5 wide tire.... i have 37's 12.5 on my truck and they rub

How bad do you think they will rub? Enough to tear up something or just rubbing on the springs?

One question, What do you think will be a better tire from Mickey Thompson- A MTT- 5767 which states a tire size of 36x15.5R16 or a MTT-5769 which ahs a size of 37x13.5R16. Those are from the MT web siite.

Best Regards,
Mike

for a 12" wheel you need to go 15.5 wide... they will look th best... and they will for sure rub on the springs... might rub on the inside of the fender too...

Thanks for the reply. They won't rub all the time Just when turning sharp? Any particular off-set on the wheel to help with the rubbing?

I personally would go with a 10" wide wheel with a 13.5" wide tire.....You will definitely rub with anything over 13.5....and not just slight rubbing.....Everyone I know that has 37x13.5s on a 6" lift say they are fine, as long as you dont hit any large bumps with the wheel anymore than half turned. A 15.5" tire will most likely rub on the bumper, the inner fender, and the leaves....Stick with a 13.5". And yes, they will look good, and they wont rub as long as you get the right offset wheel..
