what kind of gauges are they? that happened with my tranny temp gauge when i first installed it...isspro gauges.....turns out the probe is synched with the gauge and if wired backwards they will jump or if the probe is junk they will jump when you start the truck beause they have power but wont read due to a bad probe

Got'em working guys. It was just the 12 v supply was hooked in the wrong spot. Thanks to all your guys inputs. I would be lost without ya'lls comments. I was a cummins guy, but after the psd and you guys help I am hooked on the psd family.

does anyone have a picture or can explain where they get the 12 volt source from? I followed the diesel manor guide and the gaugea only work when the headlights are on.

I spliced into the red with yellow yes.

But under my steering column looks different from what is in that picture. I also noticed i'm in the 7.3 section, maybe i'll post this up in the 6.0.

Just take a test light, and stick wires in there until you find a Key on power source....

also with mine i had to run an extra two lines from the boxes. there is power lines for the gauge lights and power lines for the boxes which were not included with mine so you have to run a 12v through the ingintion key and a ground somewhere then they will work.
