What is my truck worth?

I know this question has probably been asked a ton, but hoping someone can give me a ballpark to help me base my decision on what to do with vehicles. Looking for a reasonable ballpark of what you think I could sell the truck for.

I have a 1999 (later) F-250 XLT Superduty with an Extended Cab and 8ft bed. It's 4x2 ( RWD ) and automatic. 7.3 Turbo Diesel obviously.

121k miles
- Body is in great shape
- Tires, brakes, etc are all in great shape.
- Has the lights on the roof
- Everything works from AC to the keyless entry

Tow package, block heater, etc....

Has the wheels that are pretty much solid with a few holes in them. I do apologize, I will get pictures up tomorrow evening if it helps but a ballpark would really help me out!

Thanks!

Probably around $10k, 2WD kills the value.

That sucks. I could see how 2wd is at a disadvantage for some things, but I always figured less things to break.

So if I asked $10,500 for the truck, that'd be a decent starting point? ( just wondering. Not sure whether I will keep or not yet. )

On the side... Is this a forum price? Or is this what I could expect to get from the joe public if it went on autotrader, etc..

At this time in the market it would help it. believe me i work at the Auto auction. Im in the process of selling my 05 and would be lucky to get 15 for it with the market they way it is. Im looking at a 04 dodge Loaded 4 door, cummins with 94K on it, there asking 12,000 and its been on the lot for over a month. Diesels are just not selling. You looking at anything between 8 to 11K. ive seen them sell for alot less. its a buyers market, the right guy just has to be looking for said rig.

Id say that $10,500 is a fair starting price, for you and the buyer.

As for the 2WD vs 4WD? Anyone who does there research will most likely use KBB or similar, and all of those places say that the 4x4 is worth more than the 4x2.

Didnt you just get this truck?

Yeah. I think I got it for a great price. If the market comes back, I'll be doing real well..
